Hey Sea Lions,
I just finished doing the entries for the WRASA and we have the most kids going to this meet than all the other ones this year so far. That makes me super happy and proud. It means you are enjoying swimming and helps us coaches know you are improving, So congrats. Good job to Robby and Ralph for promoting the swim meets as well. That being said our home meet is coming up very fast and I would love to see even more kids going to that one than the WRASA one. Reminder that this week our practice times have changed and we now begin drylands at 4:30 and in the water at 5:00. I know that us coaches sound like a broken record but you all need to be wearing sun screen and have at least one water bottle. I have told my group to have one water bottle and one gatorade bottle for this week especially. I haven't been to Surrey this past weekend but I know a lot of the lower mainland area is very smoky. So I do want to make sure that we stay healthy. If you have asthma or other breathing problems please let the coaches know and keep your puffer beside the pool. Lastly, for my group, we are getting very close to regionals and I want to sit down with my kids before or after practice and talk about their expectations they have for regionals and provincials and if they can even go to either. (Reminder must attend regionals to got provincials). There will be a sign up sheet on the door later this week for my group. If you are in Robby's or Ralph's group and want to do the same approach them and I am sure they will be fine with it. Cheers for now Head Coach Brandon
