2026 Summer Coaching
Surrey Sea Lions Summer Swim Club is currently accepting applications for 2026 Summer Season coaching positions. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Swim Coach to join our team. The qualified candidate will be responsible for developing swimmers’ skills, creating effective training plans, and fostering a positive and motivating environment.
SWIM COACH
Tasks and Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and conduct swim practices.
Provide technical coaching, feedback, and support to swimmers.
Ensure swimmer safety during all practices.
Attend all scheduled practices and meetings as required by the Club.
Report any incidents, injuries, or concerns to the Head Coach or the Director of Coaching.
Number of positions: 5
● Anticipated start date: 2025-05-05
● Number of weeks: 15
● Hours per week: 30
● Hourly wage paid: $22-28
● Vacation pay of 4% will be given in lieu of time off
HEAD COACH
Tasks and Responsibilities
Develop and implement training programs.
Schedule, supervise and manage coaches and volunteer coaches.
Plan, organize, and conduct swim practices.
Provide technical coaching, feedback, and support to swimmers.
Attend all scheduled practices and meetings as required by the Club.
Number of positions 2
● Anticipated start date 2025-05-05
● Number of weeks 16
● Hours per week 40
● Hourly wage paid $30-33
● Vacation pay of 4% will be given in lieu of time off
