The registration of 2021 Summer Season is now open.
ALL SWIMMERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO SWIM 25 METERS UNASSISTED IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM.
*Registration, payment and signed participation form is required before any swimmer may enter the pool*
Participants and parents must read through the Surrey Sea Lions Return to Sport Safety Plan before program start and a signed participation form which is located in the appendix. Swimmers will not be permitted to participant without a signed form.
MASKS are also mandatory unless allowed by coaches to remove them prior to hopping into the water. Social distancing must be followed AT ALL TIMES with a distance of 3 metres from participants that are not from your own household. The registration of 2021 summer season which will start on Monday May 17th at Bear Creek Park Outdoor Pool, is now opening.
Our summer season is 5 days (Monday to Friday). We are only offering 5 days a week registration due to limited spaces in our program.
The dry-land warm up exercise starts at 4:00 pm and swimming practice is from 4:35 pm to 5:55pm for all summer season. There is no swimming on Victoria Day (May 24th), Canada Day (July 1st) and BC Day (Aug 2nd) and the Summer Season scheduled end date is mid of August.
Here are the fees: 5 days: $300 Alumni: $255 (must be over the age of 16 and swam with the club for a min. of 2 years) BCSSA Registration: $45 Fundraising per family: $35
It is vital that: * No person who feels sick in any way visits any of Surrey’s facilities or parks and/or utilizes any of Surrey’s services or programs;
* No person brings a child who feels unwell or is showing any symptoms of illness to any of Surrey’s facilities or parks or utilize any of Surrey’s services or programs; and
* Any person who believes that they or their child may have become ill within 14 days of visiting or utilizing one of Surrey’s facilities, parks or programs 1) seeks appropriate medical attention by calling 8-1-1, and 2) reports this immediately to the City of Surrey by contacting Surrey’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Department at 604-501-5050.
