This year the Surrey Sea Lions & Cloverdale Tritons are hosting our Home Swim Meet at Bear Creek Park Outdoor Pool on the weekend of Saturday July 15th & Sunday July 16th. Set-up will be done on Friday July 14th, with tear-down following the end of the meet on Sunday July 16th. We require ALL families to be available for this weekend and to participate. This will be key to the success and future of our club; we can’t make this happen without everyone on board. It takes many resources to ensure that our meet and club can run successfully, we will be looking for sponsors and silent auction baskets for our swim meet. Be sure to hand out our Sponsor letter to people you know, you’d be surprised at who will help out. Please see the calendar for a scheduled of additional swim meets for the Fraser South Region that your swimmer may wish to participate in.
Currently there is no swimming schedule on Victoria Day (May 22nd), Canada Day (July 1st) and BC Day (Aug 7th) and the Summer Swim Season scheduled end date is mid-August. WHAT IF MY CHILD CHANGES HIS OR HER MIND ABOUT JOINING THE CLUB, AM I ENTITLED TO A REFUND? If your child decides in the first two weeks of joining the club summer swimming is not for them, we are happy to refund the entire amount of your fees minus a $38 registration fee that we must pay to the BCSSA. If it is later in the season, there is no refund without a doctor’s note. In that case, you should contact the Sea Lion's executive so the matter can be taken to the board meeting.
